Heart - Vegetative Valvular Endocarditis? I'm a first year vet student and I just finished my very first Path exam.....so I'm not pulling from a lot here :) Are those Currant Jelly Clots?
Yes, it is a heart with vegetative endocarditis- and those blood clots are just what was left over after I rinsed it off :) So next question- what diseae in swine has this as a possible sequella?
Is it Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae? Possibly? I did just happen to see that in my notes when I was studying for said path exam...I don't think I could pull that out of my head if I tried otherwise.
